We at Souldrop.biz would like to wish everybody a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

We would like to thank everybody who attended the recent Christmas Fayre helping to raise funds for the Village Hall. Congratulations to all those who helped make the afternoon a very special Christmastime success.

Please spare a thought for those who are not so fortunate in these times of austerity in the country and the world at large.

Many British families are finding it particularly difficult to make ends meet this year, so perhaps a good way of proving that we are really “all in it together” is to donate any spare food or if you can contribute any spare fundsĀ  to the Trussells foodbank trust

Once again “Merry Christmas”

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to all!

We here at Souldrop.biz would like to wish everybody a Very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

Peace to all!

Meanwhile Santa and his helper paid a visit to the Christmas Fayre on December 9th. The Sunday afternoon Fayre helped to raise funds for the Village Hall. Congratulations to all those who helped make the afternoon a very special Christmastime success.

To top it all, on a very windy afternoon, the village beacon was lit. That’s twice now this year as it was lit for the Diamond Jubilee back in June

Please take good care over the holiday period and don’t drink and drive!

Best Wishes!

Souldrop Christmas Fayre: Sunday 9th December 3pm

Just to confirm the Souldrop Christmas Fayre is this coming Sunday the 9th at 3pm (Not Saturday the 8th as an earlier post stated)
Please come along and support the local village hall and enjoy a raffle or browse the Christmas Fayre on display. Enjoy a spot of Christmas spirit and visit Santa’s Grotto followed by a spot of ‘mulled wine’, cakes and who knows, a guess the weight of the cake competition? Maybe, we shall have to show up to find out! Any funds raised will go towards supporting our village hall.

An event for all the family, see you there!
